A Week Itinerary in Marco Island

Day 1: Arrival & Relaxation

Afternoon: Explore Tigertail Beach. This serene spot offers shallow waters for wading, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Before dinner, check into your Vanage Vacation Home rental and get ready for the evening.

Dinner: Head to CJ's on the Bay for waterfront dining with stunning sunset views. Try their fresh seafood dishes like grouper or mahi-mahi.

Day 2: Beach Bliss & Local Eats

Morning: Spend the day at South Marco Beach, known for its soft sand and easy access. Perfect for sunbathing and swimming.

Lunch: Visit Doreen's Cup of Joe for a casual brunch. Their key lime pancakes are a must-try!

Afternoon: Take a stroll along the shore or collect seashells, as Marco Island is famous for its shelling.

Dinner: Enjoy an upscale meal at Sale e Pepe, known for its authentic Italian cuisine and beachfront setting.

Day 3: Nature Exploration

Morning: Visit Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. Take a guided kayak tour to explore mangroves and spot wildlife.

Lunch: Grab a quick bite at Michelbob's Ribs, famous for their smoky BBQ and ribs.

Afternoon: Check out the Marco Island Historical Museum to learn about the Calusa Indians and the island's history.

Day 4: Island Adventures

Morning: Take a boat tour to Keewaydin Island, a pristine and undeveloped barrier island accessible only by water.

Lunch: Enjoy a packed picnic on Keewaydin or grab lunch from one of the food boats that frequent the area. Just Beachy Burgers & More food boat is in the area from 11 am - 3 pm most days.

Afternoon: Relax on the secluded beaches of Keewaydin before returning to Marco Island.

Dinner: Try The Oyster Society, a 1920s-inspired seafood restaurant offering oysters, sushi, and craft cocktails.

Day 5: Day Trip to Everglades National Park

Morning: Take a short drive to Everglades National Park for an airboat tour. Spot alligators, birds, and manatees.
